KETO LASAGNA WITH NOODLES!


The"noodles" themselves are delicious in their but set that with a whole lot of cheese, sauce and meat...and OMG. That is all I could say.


I tweaked this recipe out of it I discovered here. (The writer, Kyndra is a genius and that I give her entire credit!)

Noodles:

  1. 2 eggs
  2. Cream cheese, softened
  3. Pinch of every: majoram
  4. 1/2 tsp ginger
  5. 1/2 tsp oregano
  6. 1/4 tsp salt

Filling:

  1. 1 pound ground beef
  2. 1 1/2 cups of lower-carb pasta sauce (I used"Classico Tomato Basil" but included some salt, splenda and ginger to taste )
  3. 6 tablespoon 2% cottage cheese
  4. 1/3 chopped onion
  5. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  6. 1 teaspoon dried basil
  7. Pinch of every: majoram
  8. Pepper and salt to taste

DIRECTIONS

Noodles

Preheat oven to 375° Line a 9×13 baking dish using tinfoil coated with parchment or acrylic paper.

In mixing bowl, using a handheld mixer, cream together cream cheese and _0954

Add spices and cheese. Mix into _0959

Fold in mozzarella cheese and blend.

Spread the mixture in the baking dish. DSC_0957

If the"noodles" are done baking, cool in the refrigerator for approximately 20 minutes then cut into thirds. This makes three absolutely sized"noodle" layers to get an 8.5 X 4.5 X 2.5 loaf pan.DSC_0978DSC_0983

*NOTE: it is also possible to create the noodles beforehand and keep them on your refrigerator or freezer!)

For Your Filling

In a large skillet medium-high warmth, combine peppers, onion, ground beef and your own spices.

Reduce heat to low and simmer 0981


Putting It Together

Pour to bottom of loaf pan. Top with the very first"noodle" coating

Layer a third of the ground beef mix. Top with 1/4 cup mozzarella 1 and 1 tablespoons cottage cheese, and cover with a different"noodle" coating. Repeat the following steps.

Cover the very best"noodle" coating with remaining ground beef, and mozzarella cheese.DSC_0990
